Caps Kids Club Day

by Staff Writer / Washington Capitals
The Caps Kids Club had their first Kids Club day of the year on Wednesday, Nov 26. There were over 500 kids that attended the event at the Verizon Center prior to the sold out Caps game against the Canadians. Members receive a voucher for a complimentary ticket. Doors opened an hour early for Kids Club members only; where they were greeted by a number of local mascots including our own Slapshot. Each member received a Kids Club light up yo yo.  Once they reached the 400 level, members were able to get their face painted, play games, make spirit signs, and win prizes.  While kids were playing games, the parents were lining up to save a spot for their kids in the autograph line. Only members were able to go through the line to get autographs from alumni Peter Bondra, Nelson Burton, and current Capital Mike Green.  At 7 pm everyone moved into their seats to cheer on the Caps as they shutout the Montreal Canadians.  Our next Kids Club day will be on February 1st.

If you not yet a member, sign up for the Kids Club today!
