Arlington, Va. – Washington Capitals single-game tickets for the 2015-16 season will go on sale Tuesday, July 7, at 10 a.m. at 1-800-745-3000, on WashingtonCaps.com, at Kettler Capitals Iceplex and at all local Ticketmaster outlets, including the Verizon Center box office.
The Capitals will open the 2015-16 season against the New Jersey Devils at Verizon Center on Oct. 10 at 7 p.m. Washington has four homestands of at least three games on the schedule, the longest being five-game stretches at Verizon Center from Nov. 19-27 and Jan. 22-Feb. 4.
Nearly half of the Capitals’ 41 home games at Verizon Center fall on weekends, which includes eight games on Friday, seven on Saturday and four on Sunday. The schedule features holiday home games on the day after Thanksgiving (Nov. 27 vs. Tampa Bay), and Super Bowl Sunday (Feb. 7 vs. Philadelphia).
Verizon Center has been sold out for 269 consecutive Capitals games (including playoffs) and, for the fifth straight season, the Capitals sold out every home game in 2014-15.
Washington Capitals fans are encouraged to make their ticket purchases directly from the team. Only tickets purchased through the team are guaranteed to be valid.
