Capitals Red Line Debuts Second Season Feb. 15 on Comcast SportsNet

ARLINGTON, Va. – Capitals Red Line presented by GEICO is back for its second season and debuting on Comcast SportsNet Monday, Feb. 15 at 9:30 p.m. Capitals Red Line is a fast-paced, behind-the-scenes look at one of the hottest teams in the National Hockey League (30-second promotional spot for Capitals Red Line). Each episode will also be replayed on Comcast SportsNet and through On Demand where available.

There are new exciting additions to the show this season - starting with new host Guerin Austin, who was named Miss Nebraska 2004. Fans can still download the Capitals Red Line widget onto their social network sites, including Blogs, Facebook and MySpace, and watch archived episodes or stay up to date with the show on the Capitals Red Line webpage on
Coming up on Capitals Red Line on Feb. 15:
American Service Center and Mercedes-Benz of Alexandria “Cruisin’”
Viewers will get an intimate first person drive with Capitals’ center Nicklas Backstrom. Backstrom discusses life and what it is like to be single and live in Washington, D.C. How is driving in the United States different from driving in Sweden? Backstrom discusses a variety of topics during the drive.
Countdown to Puck Drop presented by Ford
Hosted by Elliot of DC 101’s Elliot in the Morning
Elliot will take viewers into Verizon Center for a never-before look at what the arena and its employees go through to prepare for the different events at Verizon Center. Some days are extremely busy for the Verizon Center staff with a basketball game at noon and a hockey game at 7 p.m. Now fans can get an up-close look at how the transformation is made.
