Washington, D.C. – December 12, 2005 – The Washington Capitals have recalled forward Brooks Laich from the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League (AHL), vice president and general manager George McPhee announced.
Laich, 22, has posted two goals and two assists (14 points) while appearing in each of the last 19 games for the Capitals. He was assigned to Hershey after Friday night’s Capitals game and played for the Bears in their two home wins over Bridgeport this weekend, posting two assists Saturday and a goal on Sunday.
