Capitals Individual Game Tickets on Sale Sept. 16

Preseason game tickets available Sept. 12

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Individual game tickets for the Washington Capitals’ regular-season home games will go on sale Saturday, Sept. 16, at 10 a.m. Prices start at just $10 and are unchanged across the board from a year ago – an average of a 10% reduction from 2003-04 prices.

Tickets for Washington’s three preseason games at Verizon Center start at just $9 and are available for as much as 25% off the regular-season price. Preseason tickets will go on sale Tuesday, Sept. 12, at 10 a.m.

All tickets may be purchased online through the Capitals website,, or through local Ticketmaster outlets, including the box office at Verizon Center.

Capitals Family Packs will also go on sale Sept. 16. Family Packs are available for 15 dates on the regular-season schedule, offering families convenient and affordable options to attend Caps games. The package includes a ticket, hat and refreshments starting at just $25.50 per person.

The Capitals open their 2006-07 home schedule on Saturday, Oct. 7, against the Stanley Cup champion Carolina Hurricanes. The preseason opens on Wednesday, Sept. 20, against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
