Ryan Kesler invited to Team USA Olympic camp

Vancouver, B.C. - Vancouver Canucks forward Ryan Kesler has been invited to the U.S. Olympic Men's Ice Hockey Orientation Camp from August 17-19, at Seven Bridges Ice Arena in Woodridge, IL. Kesler is among 34 players announced for the Camp that represents 22 National Hockey League teams.


The camp is designed to assist in the preparation of the 2010 U.S. Olympic Men's Ice Hockey Team that will compete at the XXI Olympic Winter Games to be held from Feb. 12-28, 2010, in Vancouver, B.C.

This past season, Kesler, 24, established new career highs in goals (26), assists (33) and points (59) while playing in all 82 regular season games. Named an Alternate Captain before the 2008.09 season, Kesler was recognized for his strong two-way play by being named a League finalist for the Frank Selke Trophy.
