Road closures to affect traffic patterns around GM Place

Vancouver, B.C. – On Saturday, January 31st, a total of three downtown streets in close proximity to General Motors Place will be closed. The Vancouver Canucks take on the Minnesota Wild at 7:00 pm on January 31st.


Three downtown areas will be closed, having an impact on traffic patterns and parking. The areas closed are as follows: Dunsmuir, from Homer to Richards, will be closed from 4 pm on Saturday until 6 pm on Sunday; Dunsmuir, from Cambie to Homer, will be closed from 6 pm on Saturday until 6 am on Sunday; Cambie, from Water to Dunsmuir, will be closed from 6 pm on Saturday until 6 am on Sunday.

Fans are encouraged to account for the closures and to either leave home early or look for alternative transportation methods to be seated before puck drop.
