Pat O'Neill & Mike Burnstein selected to Canadian Olympic staff

Vancouver, B.C. – Canada’s Men’s Olympic Hockey Team executive director Steve Yzerman along with Hockey Canada president and CEO Bob Nicholson announced today the coaching and support staff for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver, BC. Vancouver Canucks equipment manager Pat O’Neill and head athletic trainer Mike Burnstein were both selected to the team.


O’Neill worked for Team Canada at the 2004 and 1990 World Championships in addition to the 1996 World Cup. He has a combined 28 years of NHL experience with the Vancouver Canucks and Winnipeg Jets.

Burnstein served as athletic trainer for Team Canada at the 2005, 1999 and 1998 World Championships. He has completed 14 years as head athletic trainer for the Vancouver Canucks.
