Comet of the Week
Brandon DeFazio has been a model of consistency for the Comets since the beginning of February, having not gone two consecutive games without a point, and this week was no different as the Oakville, Ontario product posted three points (1-2-3) and 15 shots on goal in three games. DeFazio has 34 points (17-17-34) and a team-high plus-7 rating along with 92 penalty-minutes in 73 games this season. Despite his point production, the 6-foot-1, 205-pounder has not registered a single multi-point game all season.
The Comets will close out the regular season with three home games this coming week starting on Wednesday against the Rochester Americans (35-27-6-5). The Toronto Marlies (43-24-2-4) come to town on Friday night before the Comets close out the season on Saturday against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (42-24-3-5).
