During the Heritage Classic last Sunday at BC Place, the Vancouver Canucks were defeated 4-2 by the Ottawa Senators. The game did not go as planned for the Canucks or Eddie Lack, who got the call in net after allowing only a single goal in his previous two starts.
Normally Lack’s job is fairly simple: keep the puck out of the net. As you can see below, he got more than he bargained for on one play as a Senators’ player bowled into the net forcing the Swedish keeper to jump, jump, jump.
A caption to this photo is needed. There’s a lot to work with so put your hardhat on and get at it.
