Canucks Recall Zack Fitzgerald and Re-assign Mike Brown

Vancouver, B.C. - Vancouver Canucks Senior Vice President and General Manager Dave Nonis announced today that defenceman Zack FitzGerald has been recalled from the Manitoba Moose of the AHL and right wing Mike Brown has been re-assigned to the Manitoba Moose of the AHL.


FitzGerald, 22, has played in 38 games for the Moose this season, recording four points (4-0-4) and 124 penalty minutes. The 6’1”, 214-pounds defenceman was originally drafted by the St. Louis Blues in the third round, 88th overall, in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.

Brown, 22, has played in 21 games as a member of the Manitoba Moose this season, recording three points (2-1-3) and 102 penalty minutes. He has also registered one point (1-0-1) and 55 penalty minutes in 19 games with the Canucks.
