The Canucks returned home from their three game road trip. Vancouver got three of six possible points on the road and are now home for a pair of games this week against Minnesota (who else!) and Columbus.

The big story was the loss of Cloutier and Allen. With Dan gone, the Canucks used one of the equipment guys as a spare.(More on that tomorrow). Allen says he is feeling better and could be ready for Wednesday but he will have to see how his bruise feels day by day.
Following the practice some of the players headed to Canuck Place for the annual pumpkin carving event. Markus Naslund, Matt Cooke, Mattias Ohlund and others braved the rain to brighten the days of the kids of Canucks Place.
