Jimmy Kimmel might not always have enough time for Matt Damon, Andrew Raycroft does - or at least Damon seems to always find a way to get some time in Raycroft’s schedule.
“What I really like a lot were the three Bourne Identity movies. Whenever any of those are on TV, I’ll always watch them - that or one of the new James Bond movies, I’ve watched a lot of those too.”
“One of the three is always on TV - my wife’s had enough of them - so I’d say I’ve watched them dozens of times, at least.”
Based on the book of the same name by Robert Ludlum, Damon stars as Jason Bourne, a man who suffers from psychogenic amnesia (a condition that causes him to experience periodic memory loss) trying to find his identity while being chased by the CIA. The movie is much more complex and is filled with twists and turns - so much so that they made two sequels.
The second of the series is "The Bourne Supremacy", also a book by Ludlum, as is the third movie, "The Bourne Ultimatum".
While "The Bourne Ultimatum" received the most box office and monetary success, "The Bourne Supremacy" gets Raycroft’s vote on top Bourne movie.
The movies on his tops list might make him the classic “action movie type” but don’t be so quick to judge.
“I’m not especially into action movies, just those two really. I wouldn’t go just to see a new action movie but those have pretty good storylines and you can read the books too so those are probably just up my alley.”
