MONTREAL – Here's a numerical look at the showdown between the Canadiens and the Hurricanes at the Bell Centre on Wednesday night.

100 – Number of NHL games disputed by Habs sophomore, Lars Eller, playing only 7 contests as part of the St. Louis Blues organization and the other 92 as a member of the Montreal Canadiens.

7:15 – Amount of time taken by Michael Cammalleri to make his presence felt since being sidelined for the Habs’ last game. Cammalleri blasted a slap shot past Cam Ward for his 4th goal of the season with the help of assists from Tomas Plekanec and Carey Price.

50 – Percentage of Canadiens defensemen in Wednesday night’s game against the Hurricanes who never played a single NHL games before the start of this season, with Frédéric St-Denis, Alexei Emelin and Raphael all getting their feet wet in 2011-12.

3 – Number of power play goals scored blue-liner, Yannick Weber who now shares the league lead with defensemen in that category along with the likes of Jack Johnson, Sami Salo, Kyle Quincey and Mike Green.

4 – Number of multi-point nights enjoyed by Tomas Plekanec so far in 2011-12 with the Czech center logging an assist on each of the Canadiens’ two first period goals.

7 – Number of assists picked up by Habs netminder Carey Price over the course of his NHL career, with the All-Star goaltender still always in search of his first goal.

30 – Number of NHL teams that Erik Cole had now put up at least one point against, with the Habs power-forward adding the Hurricanes to his list in Wednesday night’s game.

5 – Number of shots managed by Hurricanes on Carey Price by the mid-point of Wednesday night’s game, compared to the Canadiens 22 shots on Cam Ward in the same span of time.

6 – Number of goals scored so far in 2011-12 by Travis Moen, needing only 18 games to equal his goal output from 2010-11 where it took 79 to reach the same mark.

7 – Number of times over the course of the Hurricanes’ last eight visits to the Bell Centre in which the Canadiens have picked up at least one point, posting a record of 5-1-2 in that time after dropping six straight games to the Hurricanes in Montreal.
