5 – Consecutive starts made by Jaroslav Halak who is 3-1-1 in those games.

68 – Number of hits thrown by Canadiens blue-liner Ryan O’Byrne in just 33 games so far this season, whose 2 hits-per-game average is second only to Travis Moen on the Habs. O’Byrne boosted that total with 5 hits against the Bruins on Sunday afternoon.

4 – Number of times O’Byrne has dropped the gloves in the current campaign, including his one-sided “tilt” against Blake Wheeler that ended with the Bruins’ forward on the ice in a heap without a single punch being thrown in either direction.

7 – Game-high number of shots fired in Tuukka Rask’s direction by Tomas Plekanec in the game, five more than he recorded against the Bruins in his last outing on February 4.

80 – Faceoff win percentage by David Desharnais in the game, with the speedy center winning four of his five draws in his third career NHL game.

3 – Number of shots given up by the Canadiens’ defense in the second period, enjoying a 15-3 shot advantage in the middle frame.

1 – Number of times the Habs haven't had to kill off a single penalty in a game this season.
