by Staff Writer / Montréal Canadiens
MONTREAL - Here's a numerical look at the Canadiens-Sabres matchup at the Bell Centre on Tuesday night.

34 – Number of minutes played by Sabres netminders not named Ryan Miller since November 26, breaking his 31-game streak after missing Saturday night’s game and watching Jhonas Enroth take his place between the pipes for Buffalo on Tuesday night.

2 – Number of defensemen in team history who have worn No. 47 for the Canadiens, including Marc-Andre Bergeron last year and Brendon Nash, who did so for the first time on Tuesday night.

12 – Number of points racked up by Max Pacioretty in his past 11 games after leaving the January 18 game in Buffalo early after taking a James Wisniewski blast to the ribs.

2 – Number of Habs defensemen who were in the lineup on opening night who were also on the ice on Tuesday night against the Sabres, with only P.K. Subban and Alexandre Picard playing both of those games; Hal Gill, Josh Gorges and Jaroslav Spacek all missed the Buffalo game with injuries and Ryan O’Byrne was traded to Colorado earlier this year.

100 – Consecutive number of games now played by current Canadiens Iron Man Brian Gionta, dating back to December 29, 2009 against the Senators.

500 – Number of games played by Travis Moen so far in his NHL career, dating back to his debut in the league with the Chicago Blackhawks on October 8, 2003.

46.2 – Percentage of Benoit Pouliot’s goals so far this season that have come since New Year’s Eve, scoring six of his 13 goals since the arrival of current linemate David Desharnais on December 31.

22 – Consecutive number of games in which P.K. Subban has played more than 20 minutes following his 29:22 performance against the Sabres, dating back to December 28 in Washington when he returned to action after a two-game absence.

13 – Number of times the Canadiens have needed overtime or a shootout to decide a winner in 2010-11, now going 6-7 in that span.
