Practice - March 20

by Staff Writer / Montréal Canadiens

- After securing a 4-0 victory over the Carolina Hurricanes on Thursday night in Montreal, the Canadiens were back at practice on Friday morning at the Bell Sports Complex in Brossard. Michel Therrien’s troops will go in search of a third straight victory when they play host to the San Jose Sharks on Saturday night at the Bell Centre.

- Prior to the start of practice, Torrey Mitchell hit the ice for a light workout with athletic therapist Vincent Roof-Racine. Mitchell is still sidelined with an upper-body injury he suffered on March 14 against the New York Islanders.

- After missing Thursday’s practice/game with the flu, defenseman Jeff Petry was back at practice on Friday morning. Both Tomas Plekanec and David Desharnais didn’t skate. Plekanec was given a therapy day, while Desharnais was out with the flu.
