Practice - April 18

by Staff Writer / Montréal Canadiens

- After posting a 3-2 overtime victory over the Ottawa Senators in Game 2 on Friday night, the Canadiens held an optional skate at the Bell Sports Complex in Brossard on Saturday afternoon before heading to the nation’s capital. Game 3 goes on Sunday night at the Canadian Tire Centre.

- Fifteen players took part in the practice session, including Pierre-Alexandre Parenteau who did not suit up in Game 2 after suffering an upper-body injury in the series-opener. Head coach Michel Therrien confirmed that Parenteau is still listed as day-to-day. His status for Game 3 remains uncertain.

- Carey Price, P.K. Subban, Brendan Gallagher and Alex Galchenyuk were among those players who elected not to hit the ice on Saturday. Dustin Tokarski and Joey MacDonald split the duties in goal.
