Max Pacioretty to represent the United States at the World Cup of Hockey

Max Pacioretty finds himself on a list of the first 16 players named to the American contingent that will hit the ice at the World Cup of Hockey in September. The initial list was revealed on Wednesday.

The Canadiens’ captain represented his country at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, picking up one point in five games. Pacioretty also donned the colors of Team USA at the World Hockey Championship in 2012 and the World Junior Hockey Championship in 2008.
