 - In QMJHL action, Canadiens prospects, Nathan Beaulieu (St. John’s Sea Dogs) and Michael Bournival and Morgan Ellis (Shawinigan Cataractes) have all made it through to the second round of playoff competition, with both teams sweeping their opponents in four games. Things aren’t looking as bright for Olivier Archambault and the Drummondville Voltigeurs who trail the Quebec Ramparts 3-0 in their series.

 - In the WHL, Habs prospect, Patrick Holland of the Tri-City Americans has also made it into the second round of action after not taking part in his team’s last game after being handed a suspension in the third tilt of the opening round. Brendan Gallagher and the Giants are currently tied 2-2 in their series with the Spokane Chiefs. Lastly, Darren Dietz and the Saskatoon Blades are trailing 3-0 in their series.

 - In the OHL, Jarred Tinordi and the Knights are poised to continue on the second round of their playoffs tonight, as they lead their series with the Windsor Spitfires 3-0.

 - Thursday morning in Brossard, Brian Gionta joined Mathieu Darche and Travis Moen to skate on the second ice at the Bell Sports Complex.
