- After being recalled from the Bulldogs on Friday afternoon, Michael Blunden finally rejoined his teammates in Newark for the morning skate at the Prudential Center. Blunden’s whirlwind travel plans included a 5:25 a.m. flight from Newfoundland for a 10:15 a.m. arrival in Newark. He will play with Colby Armstrong and Ryan White.

- Michael Ryder did not make the trip to New Jersey with the team.

- Carey Price will get his 22nd start of the year on Saturday night.

- After being called up on Thursday morning, Jarred Tinordi will suit up for his first career NHL game against the Devils. He will play with Francis Bouillon.

- The Devils will hold a pre-game ceremony for longtime Devils goaltending guru and Rouyn-Noranda, QC native, Jacques Caron, prior to puck drop on Saturday.
