Habs call up Aaron Palushaj

MONTREAL - The Canadiens announced Wednesday that forward Aaron Palushaj has been recalled from the AHL Hamilton Bulldogs.

The 22-year old forward ranks second on the Bulldogs with eight points (1 goal and 7 assists) in seven games this season. One of his goals was scored on the powerplay. Palushaj added 20 shots on goal.

In four games with the Canadiens this season, Palushaj recorded two shots on goal and four hits, while averaging 5:47 of ice time per game.

A native of Livonia, Michigan, Palushaj was acquired from the St. Louis Blues in return for Matt D’Agostini on March 3, 2010.
