Getting to know Travis Moen

by Staff Writer / Montréal Canadiens
MONTREAL -- Whether it’s the regular season or the offseason, Habs newcomer Travis Moen is rarely one to slow down. We managed to pull the rugged forward aside from his busy daily routine to put him in our hot seat.

You still work on your family farm during the offseason, right? What’s the toughest chore to get through?
Picking up rocks in the field.

Who would play the role of Travis Moen if your life story was to be made into movie?
Will Ferrell. My life would have to be a comedy.

What’s the most embarrassing song on your iPod these days?
None. I like to keep that pretty guy-like.

People say you look like…?
Mathew McConaughey

Who first came to mind when you raised the Stanley Cup with the Ducks in 2007?
My dad.

Who’s the toughest player to play against in the NHL today?
Alexander Ovechkin

If you could play in any band in history, who would it be?
AC/DC. I’d be happy with playing the drums for them.

What’s greatest cartoon of all time?
The Smurfs.

If you could meet anyone in history, who would it be?
John F. Kennedy

What’s the greatest nickname you ever had?

What’s your favorite all-time prank?
It was in Anaheim. Someone sewed our car keys into the pockets of our pants. It was hilarious to watch everyone trying get their keys out, myself included. We always suspected George Parros was the culprit, but he never fessed up.
