George Parros cuts his hair for cancer

by Staff Writer / Montréal Canadiens

On Sunday January 19, 2014, the Cutting it for kids event was held at the Bell Centre. The event hosted by George Parros and the Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation invited fans to have their hair cut in order to help kids battling cancer receive wigs made with real human hair. Participants had a chance to get an autograph and have their pictures taken with George Parros, who shed his trademark locks for the occasion, in exchange for donations.

In total, George Parros and three fans received haircuts, raising $1 545 for the oncology department of the Montreal Children’s Hospital and the Childhood Leukemia Foundation.
