Addison traded to Windsor

by Staff Writer / Montréal Canadiens

On Tuesday, the Ottawa 67’s traded Canadiens prospect Jeremiah Addison to the Windsor Spitfires. Addison, the Canadiens’ seventh-round selection in 2015, registered 27 goals and 56 points in 67 games with Ottawa last season in the OHL. After picking up three points in four playoff games, Addison signed an amateur tryout contract with the AHL’s St. John’s IceCaps, with whom he played four games.

The Spitfires, who will play host to the Memorial Cup in 2017, also boast the Canadiens’ 2016 first-rounder on their roster, defenseman Mikhail Sergachev.
