MONTREAL - A daunting challenge awaits the Montreal Alouettes as they take on Montreal Canadiens legends on Friday, Mar. 31 at Pierrefonds' 4 Glaces Sportplexe. All profits from this special event will benefit the Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation and West Island Community Shares.
This friendly game, which will start at 7 pm, is presented by Desjardins Securities in collaboration with the West Island Caisses Desjardins, as part as the Desjardins Group Annual Hockey Tournament.

West Island Community Shares is a non-profit organization that works in the West Island of Montreal community. Founded in 1988, it raises funds to be distributed among local charities. Since its creation, West Island Community Shares has distributed over 1.6 million dollars to more than 20 local charities.
The Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation assists children who are underprivileged or sick, or who may have special needs by funding non-profit groups dedicated to fighting poverty, improving their health and well-being, or promoting sport among the less fortunate. Since its inception in 2000, the Foundation has donated close to 3.3 million dollars to close to 150 non-profit organizations all across the province of Quebec.
