27 players to attend the Canadiens Training Camp

MONTREAL– The Montreal Canadiens announced Saturday that 27 players will participate in the 2013 training camp, which will get underway officially on Sunday, January 13 at the Bell Sports Complex in Brossard.

The list of players invited to training camp includes 2 goaltenders, 9 defensemen and 16 forwards. Four of the 27 players have been recalled from the Hamilton Bulldogs; forwards Brendan Gallagher and Gabriel Dumont, as well as defensemen Mike Commodore and Jarred Tinordi. Canadiens’ first round selection at the 2012 NHL Draft, forward Alex Galchenyuk was also invited to training camp.

The Canadiens first official on-ice practice will take place on Sunday, January 13 at the Bell Sports Complex. The training camp will run until Friday, January 18, in preparation for the season opener against the Maple Leafs at the Bell Centre on Saturday, January 19, at 7 p.m.
