Sam Adams "Bru Fest" on March 19 and 31

Boston, MA - On Thursday, March 19 and Tuesday, March 31 the Boston Bruins will hold their third and fourth Bru Fest events of the 2008-09 season sponsored by Boston’s own Samuel Adams brewery.


The outdoor festivities will start at 5:00 p.m. and conclude at 7:00 p.m. (with last call at 6:45 p.m.) in the West Plaza outside of the TD Banknorth Garden. Tickets to Bru Fest cost $45.00 and include admission to the party, a voucher for one free beer or free soda, discounted concessions and a ticket to that evening’s Bruins home game.  The B’s take on the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday, March 19, at 7:00 p.m. ET and the Tampa Bay Lightning on Tuesday, March 31 at 7:00 p.m. ET.

Music, reduced concessions, giveaways and a variety games will be set up in the West Plaza.  Samuel Adams will be featuring a selection of their most popular products and the Garden will be providing the traditional items from the concessions menu. Throughout the evening Boston Bruins Ice Girls and the Boston Bruins mascot, Blades, will be mingling with fans and take photographs.

The TD Banknorth Garden's alcohol policy is in place for the event.  To purchase alcoholic beverages, a patron must present a valid MA driver's license, MA liquor ID, passport or military ID, which indicates the patron to be a least 21 years of age (MA ID cards, duplicate licenses, expired licenses, damaged licenses and driver's licenses, which do not have photos, will not be accepted). Out of state licenses are acceptable only if the patron is at least 25 years of age and another form of identification (e.g., credit card) will be required if the patron is between 25 and 30 years of age.

The Bruins held two Samuel Adams Bru Fest events earlier this year before their games on November 19 and November 6.

The Eastern Conference leading Bruins begin a two-game road trip Wednesday, February 4, when they visit the Flyers in Philadelphia at 7:00 p.m. ET and then travel to Ottawa to face the Senators on Thursday, February 5, at 7:00 p.m. ET.
