BOSTON, MA –
On Thursday, April 7, Bruins forward Shawn Thornton
and 15 of his teammates are partnering up with 98.5 the Sports Hub to host the fourth annual “Cuts for a Cause”
from 2:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Ned Devine’s (1 Faneuil Hall Market Place, Boston, MA 02109). Thornton and his teammates will have their heads shaved by auction winners on stage to show their support and raise money for children battling cancer. Bruins players not shaving their heads will donate $400 to the Boston Bruins Foundation.

and Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center
. All of the money raised at the event will be donated through the Boston Bruins Foundation and will benefit Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center’s “Child Life Services Activities,” “Shooting Stars”
and “Very Important Brothers and Sisters”
