Wilmington, Mass. – Day three of rookie camp was dedicated to practice, with an emphasis on skating. Team White began the day at 8:00 a.m., followed by Team Black at 10:00 a.m. Each team skated for an hour and a half and was put through a series of drills, led by Head Coach Mike Sullivan.

Sunday, September 11 will mark the final day of rookie camp, ending with the Black vs. White scrimmage at 9:30 a.m. at Ristuccia Arena. On Monday, the full roster (rookies plus veterans) will report to training camp at the TD Banknorth Garden at 9:00 a.m. All practices during training camp are free and open to the public.

Glen Murray and Travis Green were at the TD Banknorth Garden on Saturday, greeting Bruins fans and signing autographs for those who turned out to buy Bruins tickets. The Bruins also opened up the ice for the day to anyone who purchased a Bruins ticket for the upcoming season. Once inside, fans of all ages had the opportunity to skate with Patrice Bergeron, Brad Boyes and Hannu Toivonen.

"It was great to see so many fans excited for the season," said Patrice Bergeron. "We had fun skating with the people who bought tickets. Bruins fans are great, and today was a good example of that. Everyone was telling us how happy they are that we are back."

"It was fun to be out there on the Garden ice with all those fans," said Hannu Toivonen. "Everyone was just so excited. I am really looking forward to training camp opening on Monday."
