by Staff Writer / Boston Bruins

THIS WEEK’S NEWS, NOTES AND NUMBERS…

TRAVIS ROY TO DROP PUCK ON 10/12: On Monday, October 12 at the Bruins vs. Tampa Bay Lightning game at TD Garden, the Bruins will host Travis Roy in recognition of the 20th anniversary of Roy’s injury. Before the game, B’s President Cam Neely and General Manager Don Sweeney will sign Roy to a one-day Bruins contract. To cap off the evening, Roy will then drop the ceremonial first puck before Monday’s game between the Bruins and Lightning.
