Bruins To Host Military Appreciation Night 11/12 In Game Vs. Colorado Avalanche

BOSTON, MA – The Boston Bruins will honor local military members, veterans and their families at Military Appreciation Night on Thursday, November 12 at 7:00 p.m. during the Bruins vs. Colorado Avalanche game at TD Garden. To show their support for the armed forces, Bruins players Jimmy Hayes,David Krejci, Torey Krug, Brad Marchand, Kevan Miller and Zach Trotmanhave teamed up to purchase $15,000 worth of tickets to the Bruins/Avalanche game to give to local military members and their families. The military members and families who sit in these player-donated seats will have the opportunity to meet the players postgame.

Bruins fans can follow the lead of the Bruins players through the team’s “Seats for Soldiers” program. The Seats for Soldiers program enables fans to purchase specially priced $125 Lower Level seats and $75 Upper Level seats that will be donated to local military programs. On November 12, the entire Bruins team will wear camouflaged Spoked-B jerseys for warm-ups and will use camouflaged stick tape during the game to show their support for Military Appreciation Night. The team-signed, warm-up worn camouflaged jerseys will be auctioned off at the Boston Bruins Foundation table outside of Loge 4; the jerseys will also be available at auctions.nhl.com.

The soldiers and families in attendance will be honored throughout the game with a photo montage on the Garden HDX, Zamboni rides and more. The Bruins ProShop powered by Reebok and the Gameday ProShop locations (located on levels 4 & 5) offer 10% off with a military ID at all times. In conjunction with Military Appreciation Night, all military personnel will receive a 20% off discount at the ProShop powered by Reebok and all Gameday ProShop locations (located on levels 4 & 5) on the day of the game.
