Bruins Announce Game and Broadcast Schedule for the Eastern Conference Semifinal Series

BOSTON, MA – The Boston Bruins announced today, May 14, their game schedule, broadcast info and credentialing details for their 2013 Stanley Cup Eastern Conference Semifinal Series against the New York Rangers, which can be found below. The Bruins are the fourth seed in the East and will have home ice advantage, with the Rangers holding the sixth seed.


The team will not practice on Tuesday, May 14. Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli will hold a press conference on Tuesday, May 14 at 1:00 p.m. in the TD Garden Press Conference Area. Media can enter the TD Garden through the media/back security entrance beginning at noon.

The team will announce their full practice and media availability schedule at a later date.

Games 1 and 2 of the B’s/Rangers series will be played in Boston at the TD Garden on Thursday, May 16 at 7:30 p.m. ET and on Sunday, May 19 at 3:00 p.m. ET.  The Rangers will then host the Bruins for Games 3 and 4 on Tuesday, May 21 at 7:30 p.m. ET and Thursday, May 23 at 7:00 p.m. ET at Madison Square Garden in New York.  If necessary, Game 5 is set for Saturday, May 25 at 7:00 p.m. ET in Boston, while Game 6 will be back in New York on Monday, May 27 (time TBD), and Game 7 will be played in Boston on Wednesday, May 29 (time TBD).

Television broadcast information is posted below. All playoff games can be heard on the Bruins flagship radio station, 98.5 FM The Sports Hub.

Please be aware that Bruins regular season credentials WILL NOT be valid for Bruins home games during the playoffs. Members of the media must submit requests on a game-by-game basis. Please send an email to ewentzell@bostonbruins.com by the respective deadline that contains the information in the CREDENTIALING section below.

Unlike previous years, there will not be a media hotel rate on the road for those members of the press traveling to New York.

Members of the media who are approved for playoff credentials can pick them up at the Bruins Media Will Call table from 9:00 a.m. ET – 12:00 p.m. ET and 2:30 – 8:00 p.m. ET on HOME GAMEDAYS.  The Bruins Media Will Call table is located at the Back Security Entrance on the East Side of the TD Garden.

PHOTOGRAPHER POSITIONS (HOME GAMES):
The Bruins will have a total of 28 still photographer positions at the TD Garden for the playoffs.  These positions will be assigned by the Bruins during a photographers meeting which will be held 90 minutes prior to all home games.  The photographers meeting will take place in the Zamboni entrance (level 3), and will be led by a member of the Bruins Communications Staff.
