Boston, MA – Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli released the roster of players for their second annual Development Camp, to be held July 8–12, 2008 at the Bruins practice facility in Wilmington, Massachusetts. Headlining this year’s group of invitees are the Bruins first round selections in the last two drafts: the 8th overall pick in 2007, Zach Hamill, and the 16th overall pick in 2008, Joe Colborne.

The other five members of the Bruins 2008 NHL Entry Draft Class- Maxime Sauve, Michael Hutchinson, Jamie Arniel, Nick Tremblay, and Mark Goggin- will also make the trek to Wilmington.
In addition to the Bruins 2008 Draft class, recently acquired prospects Jeff LoVecchio from Western Michigan University, Jeff Penner of Alaska-Fairbanks University, and Matt Marquardt of Baie-Comeau Drakkar, are on the roster and are scheduled to make their first appearances at a Bruins camp.

To round out the list, the Bruins will welcome a number of their draft picks from the 2005, 2006, and 2007 NHL Entry Drafts including: Andrew Bodnarchuk, Adam Courchaine, Tommy Cross, Alain Goulet, Jordan Knackstedt, Brad Marchand, Mikko Lehtonen, Adam McQuaid, Levi Nelson, Kevin Regan, and Denis Reul.

The on-ice portion of the 2008 Development Camp will again be led by Boston Bruins Director of Hockey Operations and Player Development Don Sweeney, Boston Bruins Assistant Coach Geoff Ward, Providence Bruins Head Coach Scott Gordon and Providence Bruins Assistant Coach Rob Murray. The off-ice portion will be led by Boston Bruins Strength and Conditioning Coach John Whitesides. Activities will also be planned away from the rink so that the players can explore some of the many great things that the city of Boston has to offer.
