Boychuk Sidelined Approx. Four Weeks

BOSTON, MA - Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced today that defenseman Johnny Boychuk suffered a slight fracture to his left ulna (bone in forearm) in the first period of the Bruins 3-2 loss to the New York Rangers on Saturday.  Boychuk is expected to be sidelined for approximately four weeks.


Boychuk, who signed a two-year contract extension with the Bruins in June, has appeared in all six of the Bruins games this season, notching three assists.
