Boston Bruins Foundation to donate $10,000 to Yankee Conference South Hockey League

The Boston Bruins Foundation will present a $10,000 donation to Yankee Conference South Hockey League to replace funds stolen from the youth hockey group. Boston Bruins defenseman Paul Mara, who grew up in Belmont and is a product of the MA Youth Hockey Program, will make a surprise visit. Mara will run a hockey clinic to motivate players for their upcoming season!

Mara and Paul Stewart, Director of Development for the Boston Bruins Foundation, will deliver a check to Bob Badmington, Director of the Yankee Conference South Hockey League. Yankee Conference youth players will participate in the clinic and get autographs from Paul Mara.

Yankee Conference South Hockey League
The Yankee Conference South Hockey League has over 200 teams and over 2,500 players on the South Shore and Cape Cod. It is a house league for players who didn’t qualify for an elite team and promotes fun, enjoyment, and development of young hockey players.
