The 9th Annual BFit Heroes Cup powered by National Grid was held at the New England Sports Center in Marlborough, MA from June 6 to June 8. This tournament is a weekend-long event designed to bring firefighters, police officers, EMS, and military members across the country together to raise money for multiple charities surrounding their professions and mental health. Over 100 teams participated this year for the opportunity to win additional money for the charity of their choice, raising over $465,000. 12 teams were crowned champion in their respective divisions and an extra $1,000 was awarded to a charity of their choice along with their name being added to the Heroes Cup. This year's tournament featured an All-Star Game for top fundraisers to play against some Boston Bruins Alumni. Some alumni included Andrew Raycroft, Tuukka Rask, Bob Sweeney, and P.J. Stock.
