The Phantom Cam will make its Blues debut tonight in Los Angeles on FOX Sports Midwest.
With the ability to record more than 2,000 frames per second in hockey, the Phantom Cam was first debuted by FOX during the 2012 NLCS and World Series. Two weeks ago, it made its debut in hockey and will be used during tonight's Blues / Kings matchup at Staples Center. The broadcast begins at 9:30 p.m. on FOX Sports Midwest.
Standard slow-motion cameras record at 380 frames per second or less.
The Phantom Cam will also be available during the Dec. 31 game vs. Minnesota. It will be featured for several more games throughout the season, but dates are still to be determined.
