Jackman Ties Hull in Games Played

by Chris Pinkert / St. Louis Blues

ST. LOUIS - Blues defenseman Barret Jackman is now tied for third on the Blues' all-time games played list.

Jackman played in game No. 744 Sunday afteroon in Winnipeg, tying Brett Hull.

Said Jackman, "I'm not going to catch his records in goals or assists or points or anything like that, but just to be on that list with some amazing people...passing Bobby (Plager) last season and catching up to Brett this's one thing to play in the NHL, but to play for one team in the NHL that long is a huge honor and a big accomplishment for me."

Jackman, who was drafted by the Blues in the first round (17th overall) in 1999, trails only Bernie Federko (927) and Brian Sutter (779) on the all-time games played list.

Through his 744-game career, all with the Blues, Jackman has 26 goals and 144 assists (170 points).
