Help Haiti with Blues' 50/50 Raffle

by Staff Writer / St. Louis Blues
ST. LOUIS – The St. Louis Blues announced Thursday that it will begin a 50/50 raffle on Saturday, Jan. 23 when the Blues host the Anaheim Ducks.

This new in-game fundraising effort will provide participating fans the opportunity to win money at every remaining Blues home game this season while benefiting the St. Louis Blues 14 Fund, the teams' charitable trust.

However, at this Saturday’s game, all proceeds will be donated to The Haiti Relief Fund.

Volunteers wearing royal blue aprons with the Blues 14 Fund logo and 50-50 raffle printed on them will be scattered throughout Scottrade Center selling tickets for $1 each.

The one person with the winning number will win 50% of the money while the other half will be donated.

Sales will begin when the door opens until the start of the third period with the winner being announced during the third period. The ticket will be drawn publicly outside sections 110-111.

All participants must be 18 years of age or older.
