Game Notes - Blues 6, Stars 1

-The Blues have advanced to the Conference Finals for the first time since 2001 (vs. Colorado)

-The Blues earned their first Game 7 win on the road since the 1999 Conference Quarterfinals against Phoenix

-This marks the second time in franchise history that the Blues have won consecutive Game 7s in the same playoff year (first: 1968 Quarterfinals and Semifinals)

-The Blues improved to 7-6 all-time in playoff series vs. the Stars, including a 3-1 record in Game 7 against them
 
-Ken Hitchcock improved to 5-2 in Game 7s behind the bench
 
-Brian Elliott made 31 saves, improving to 8-6 with a 2.29 GAA and a .929 SV% this postseason.  Elliott has now made 62 stops on 65 shots in Game 7s this postseason (.954 SV%)
 
-Robby Fabbri scored his 3rd goal of the postseason and added his 9th and 10th assists, becoming the youngest player in NHL history (20 yrs, 110 days) to post three points in a Game 7

-Fabbri is the youngest players in Blues history to score in a Game 7 (20 yrs, 110 days) and the youngest overall to do so since Tyler Seguin scored for the Boston Bruins on Apr. 25, 2012

-Patrik Berglund scored his 4th goal of the postseason, setting a new career high for a single postseason. Berglund also recorded his 4th assist of the postseason

-Paul Stastny scored his 3rd goal of the postseason and added two assists for his third career three-point playoff game.  The goal was his in a Game 7

-Troy Brouwer scored his 5th goal of the postseason and recorded his 4th and 5th assists for his second career three-point playoff game.  Brouwer now has 4 points (2g, 2a) in Game 7s this postseason

-David Backes scored his 6th goal and recorded his 6th assist of the postseason. Backes led all players with 8 points (4g, 4a) in this series

-Backes has now scored more goals this postseason (6), than he had in his previous five career postseasons combined
 
-Vladimir Tarasenko deposited an empty-net goal.  He now ranks third overall with 7 goals this postseason
