  • The Blues earned their second consecutive win over the Jets and took-over sole possession of 2nd place in the Central Division and Western Conference (25 points – 1. Dallas, 28)
  • David Backes recorded two goals and added an assist for his 12th career three-point night. Backes’ first marker was his 51st career power play goal, moving him ahead of Joe Mullen for 10th on the Blues’ all-time franchise list. His second tally proved to be his 24th career game-winner which tied Brendan Shanahan for 11th on the all-time franchise register
  • Vladimir Tarasenko extended his goal streak to three games (four goals overall) and added an assist for his second consecutive multi-point effort. He now has six multi-point games this season and two have come against the Jets
  • Kevin Shattenkirk had two assists for his 33rd career multi-assist game. He now has three assists in his last two games
  • Colton Parayko notched an assist and now shares third in rookie scoring with 12 points (5g, 7a) overall (Connor McDavid, Oscar Lindberg)
  • Alexander Steen posted an assist for the second consecutive game
  • Troy Brouwer served a season-high nine penalty minutes, including a fight with Winnipeg’s Jacob Trouba
  • Jeremy Welsh played 8:27 and landed two hits in his Blues debut
  • Jay Bouwmeester led all players with a personal season-high five shots on goal

  • Kevin Shattenkirk dressed in his 300th game as a Blue
