  • The Blues won their third game in-a-row and earned points in their fourth straight road game (2-0-2), which ties a season high for the third time
  • Brian Elliott improved to 2-0-0 in his last two starts in Detroit, including a 0.50 goals against average and a .983 save percentage (1 shutout).  Overall, Elliott has won five of his last six starts while posting a 2.03 goals against average and a .938 save percentage in that span
  • Ty Rattie became the first Blues rookie to score at Joe Louis Arena since Vladimir Tarasenko on Feb. 13, 2014
  • Dmitrij Jaskin buried his third goal of the season and his second game-winner.  Five of Jaskin's 17 career goals have been game-winners
  • Alex Pietrangelo notched his 17th and 18th assists for his third multi-assist game of the year.  Pietrangelo now has a point in four consecutive road games (1g, 4a) for the first time since Dec. 6-20, 2014.
  • David Backes posted his 15th and 16th assists for his first multi-assist game of the year.  Backes also contributed a game-high seven hits, which were the most by a Blue at Joe Louis Arena since Backes had an equal total on Mar. 24, 2010
Blues Milestones
David Backes served two penalty minutes, giving him 933 for his career which passed Chris Pronger for sole possession of 5th on the all-time franchise list
