Game Notes- October 27, 2015

  • The Blues extended their win streak over the Lightning to four games overall and four games at Scottrade Center. The victory gave the Blues 13 points for the year, tying them with Nashville and Minnesota atop the Western Conference standings
  • Jake Allen made 26 saves for his first shutout of the season and the sixth of his career overall (3 at home, 3 on the road). Over his last seven home starts, including the 2015 playoffs, Allen is 4-3-0 with a 1.44 goals against average and a .940 save percentage
  • Scott Gomez notched the game-winning-goal in the first period, marking his first tally as a Blue. He extended his point streak against the Lightning to three games (1g, 3a)
  • Troy Brouwer posted an assist and added an empty-net goal with time running out in the third period. He now has three multi-point efforts in nine outings with the Blues, while his eight points (3g, 5a) overall share second on the club with Alexander Steen
  • Colton Parayko had the primary assist on Gomez’ goal, giving him three points (1g, 2a) in the last two games. His six points (3g, 3a) for the season are tops amongst all rookie defensemen
  • Vladimir Tarasenko continued to pepper the net, logging 11 shot attempts, including six on goal. He now leads the League overall with 42 shots on goal this season
