  • The Blues lost to the Blackhawks for the first time in their last four meetings but remain in a tie for second in the Central Division with 23 points (1. Dallas, 28)
  • Vladimir Tarasenko posted two goals and now shares 3rd overall with 10 goals for the season.  It was the 14th multi-goal game of his career.  He also fired six shots on goal and now shares sixth overall with 68 for the season
  • Jori Lehtera notched two assists, giving him 10 points for the year (2g, 8a).  It was Lehtera’s first multi-assist game this season and the seventh of his career overall
  • Kevin Shattenkirk posted a power play assist for his first point since returning from injury.  Shattenkirk has 27 power play points since the beginning of last season (4g, 23a) which shares 7th among all defensemen
  • Colton Parayko was a +1 in 21:13.  His +10 rating overall trails only Dylan Larkin (+11) among rookies.  Parayko also blocked three shots, improving his team-leading season total to 35
  • Ryan Reaves returned to the lineup and landed a game-high five hits
 
Blues Milestones
  • Kevin Shattenkirk’s assist gave him 200 points for his NHL career
  • David Backes served seven penalty minutes, pushing his career total to 901.  Backes now ranks sixth on the Blues’ all-time penalty minutes list, having passed Rob Ramage (898) with tonight’s total
