Blues equipment manager Bert Godin surpassed a new milestone when he worked his 1,000th NHL game during Wednesday's 4-3 win over Buffalo.
More than 700 of those games have been with the Blues.
"It seems to go by fast, but I've loved every minute of it," Godin said. "I just love working in the National Hockey League."
After Wednesday's game, Blues defenseman Barret Jackman
presented Godin with an official game puck to commemorate the milestone. It is the same puck used for Brad Boyes' game winning goal with :57 seconds remaining.
Godin has served as an equipment manager in more than 1,600 pro hockey games.
The Blues would like to congratulate Godin on his accomplishment.
