ST. LOUIS – The Blues’ Brian Elliott earned the National Hockey League’s (NHL) Thirrd Star of the Week honor for the week ending Nov. 27, joining Pittsburgh's Sidney Crosby and Vancouver's Cory Schneider.
Elliott posted a 3-0-0 record with a 0.98 goals against average, a .963 save percentage and one shutout.
He moved to 10-1-0 on the season after a three-win week, which included victories over Pittsburgh (3-2 OT), Calgary (2-0) and Columbus (2-1).
For the week, among goaltenders with at least two starts, Elliott ranked second in GAA and SV% while his three goals allowed tied for fewest in the league.
Overall this season, Elliott leads the NHL with a 1.31 GAA and .951 SV% and is tied at the top with 3 shutouts.
