ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced Sunday the club has recalled forward Adam Cracknell from the Blues’ American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen.

The club also placed forward Dave Scatchard on injured reserve.

Scatchard suffered a right knee injury in the Blues’ 4-1 loss to San Jose
on Dec. 18 at Scottrade Center and will be sidelined four to six weeks.

Cracknell, 25, made his NHL debut on Dec. 15, 2010 at Detroit. He has made 29 appearances in Peoria this season tallying 14 points on four goals and 10 assists including 41 penalty minutes.

The Prince Albert, Saskatchewan native was originally drafted by the Calgary Flames in the ninth round, 279th overall, of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.

He was signed as a free agent by St. Louis on July 23, 2009.
