ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced Saturday the Blues have recalled defensemen Taylor Chorney and Jeff Woywitka as well as forward Evgeny Grachev from the club’s American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen.
Chorney, 25, appeared in 73 games for the Rivermen this season, posting 24 points (four goals and 20 assists). The Thunder Bay, Ontario native was signed by the Blues as a free agent on July 1, 2012.
Woywitka, 29, appeared in 34 games for the Rivermen this season, posting 11 points (one goal, 10 assists). The Vermilion, Alberta native was signed by the Blues as a free agent on July 2, 2012.
Grachev, 23, appeared in 76 games for the Rivermen this season, posting 26 points (11 goals, 15 assists). The Khabarovsk, Russia native was acquired by the Blues from the New York Rangers in exchange for a 2011 third round pick (Steven Fogarty) on June 25, 2011.
