ST. LOUIS - NBC and NBC Sports Network will combine to broadcast 106 regular-season NHL games during the 2016-17 season, and 12 of those games will feature the St. Louis Blues.
The Blues will kick-off the League's national broadcast schedule with the season-opener on Oct. 12 against the Chicago Blackhawks at United Center.
St. Louis and Chicago will also be featured on NBC in the League's premier outdoor event - the 2017 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic - at Busch Stadium on Jan. 2 at noon.
The NBC Sports schedule will also feature the Blues in three Wednesday Night Rivalry matchups: Oct. 12 and Nov. 9 against Chicago, and Feb. 15 against the Detroit Red Wings.
Most games will feature NBCSN's live pre- and -postgame shows with game highlights and analysis of matchups throughout the League.
In addition, all nationally-televised games will be streamed live at NBCSports.com and on the NBC Sports app, which is available on the Apple App Store, Google Play, Windows Store, Roku and Apple TV.
The NHL is coming off it's most-watched season on cable since the 1993-94 season.
